Community Research Initiative (CRI) is an independent, nonprofit, community-based organization in New England dedicated to HIV and hepatitis C clinical research, treatment education, and financial assistance for approved HIV drug treatments and health insurance coverage.
Thanks to you, CRI researchers can share the message that treatment works. On Sunday, September 7, CRI Research Director Dr. Cal Cohen reported on clinical trial data at the 54th Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) in Washington, DC, an international meeting on infectious diseases and antimicrobial agents showcasing front-line science from top researchers.
CRI is participating in a new initiative designed to offer coordinated assistance to healthcare providers for enrolling and retaining their patients in comprehensive healthcare coverage. Drawing on our expertise in insurance and benefits programs gained through our management of HDAP, CRI now has a resource team to assist both case managers and consumers throughout the state as they navigate public and private insurance programs and procedures.
Over 500 of you—riders, crew members, donors, supporters, and volunteers—gathered to make H2B's Ride Twelve an absolute success, on track to raise over $100k for CRI with your continued support! On September 20, 2014, you rode a LONG way, cheered one another on, kept each other safe, and had a blast…all while giving hope to friends and family around the world. We’re glad your wheels are still spinning, because the ride isn't over yet! You can help Team CRI surpass our $100K goal by donating through November 15, 2014. Anyone who donates $100 or more to CRI or to a CRI rider or crew member will be entered to win a roundtrip airline ticket.
