Community Research Initiative (CRI) is an independent, nonprofit, community-based organization in New England dedicated to HIV and Hepatitis C clinical research, treatment education, and financial assistance for approved HIV drug treatments and health insurance coverage.
Thanks to your support, CRI Research Director Dr. Cal Cohen will be sharing CRI's research at several upcoming engagements including the December 12th Penn Hospital Clinician Talks Series and The Kumamoto Japanese AIDS Conference. Please join our mailing list to receive more information as it becomes available. Thanks to your help, CRI physicians, nurses, and research staff regularly participate in or attend local and international conferences, discussions, and lectures. These meetings are an important forum for sharing research, creating partnerships, and improving patient care.
The HIV Drug Assistance Program (HDAP) has developed a training series designed to describe current issues in health insurance and to help streamline the HDAP application process for providers on behalf of their clients. In a collaborative effort by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the Boston Public Health Commission, and CRI/HDAP, this three-part webinar offers updates on HDAP application procedures, recent changes to health insurance programs, and the potential impacts of the Affordable Care Act on HDAP.
