WAYS TO GIVE

As our supporters, you are a critical part of our team. You make it possible for CRI to lead the way in clinical HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C (HCV) research and ensure access to lifesaving drugs to those in need. On behalf of the clients we serve and on behalf of people living with HIV and HCV everywhere, thank you for your generous support.

LEADERSHIP GIVING
In 2009, in honor of CRI’s two decades of groundbreaking HIV/AIDS research, we created two leadership giving opportunities to help us continue leading the way in HIV and now hepatitis C (HCV) research. In 2014, to commemorate CRI’s 25th anniversary of changing lives through research, we created a new fund named after CRI Founding Research Director Dr. Cal Cohen.

GIFTS OF BEQUESTS, STOCK OR SECURITIES, OR PLANNED GIVING
CRI is grateful for bequests via wills, stocks and securities, and planned giving arrangements. We encourage you to discuss your giving options with your lawyer or other financial representative to determine how you can provide for the future growth of CRI while maximizing your tax benefits. Contact the Development and Communications Team at khudson@crine.org or 617.502.1710 with any questions you may have.

GIFTS IN HONOR OR GIFTS IN MEMORY
Make a gift in honor of an individual, to celebrate a special occasion, or in memory of a deceased friend or family member. Complete the donation form or donate online, and we will acknowledge your generous contribution to the individual(s) you designate. (Unless requested, we do not specify the amount of the gift in the acknowledgement.)

MATCHING GIFTS
Don’t forget: you can double or triple the impact of your gift if you (or a member of your family) qualify for corporate matching funds! Please check with your company’s HR department to see if they participate in a matching gift program, and include a matching gift form to increase your support of CRI’s work.

IN-KIND DONATIONS
Support for Community Research Initiative and its research can take many forms. Donate art, products, or professional services to events, provide needed assistance or office equipment, or help reduce operating costs.

GIVE ONLINE THROUGH AMAZONSMILE
You shop online through AmazonSmile and the AmazonSmile Foundation gives — it’s as simple as that!

When you select CRI as your beneficiary, AmazonSmile donates 0.5 percent from every eligible purchase directly to CRI. You can support CRI’s HIV and hepatitis C clinical research as you go about your normal, everyday online shopping.

•    Go online to www.smile.amazon.com
•    Type in “Community Research Initiative” into the charitable organization search bar
•    Select “Community Research Initiative of New England, Inc.”

It’s that simple. AmazonSmile will remember that you are shopping on behalf of CRI each time you visit the site. Remember, make sure you go to smile.amazon.com when shopping online on Amazon. It has all the same products at the same prices as Amazon, and 0.5% of your purchase is donated to CRI.
